Winzz Guitars Unveils WLH Headless Multiscale Electric Guitars

Progressive ergonomic design meets versatile Alnico V electronics in a lightweight, travel-ready platform.

Winzz Guitars announces the WLH100 and WLH150, a new series of headless electric guitars engineered specifically for modern progressive players. Built around a 25–25.5-inch multiscale length to deliver optimized string tension, the WLH platform combines a lightweight structure, improved physical balance, and increased mobility for stage performance, practice, and travel. Both models incorporate an ergonomic neck-body joint featuring a 5-bolt asymmetric heel design that allows exceptional high-fret playability.

The series utilizes mahogany for its primary body material, finished in gloss or satin depending on the color option. The WLH100 incorporates a mahogany body with maple top designed to deliver a direct, focused tonal response. It is available in two distinct finishes: Shimmer Black and Sparkle Kallaite. The step-up WLH150 model adopts a three-piece body construction capped with a figured maple burl top for increased stability and an expressive visual identity, offered in a Wooden Black finish.

Designed for smooth playability, the neck features a "Glider" neck shape with a hybrid C-D profile and satin polyester finish. The neck measures 20.72 mm (0.816 in) thick at the first fret and 22.47 mm (0.885 in) thick at the twelfth fret, with a synthetic bone nut measuring 42 mm (1.65 in) wide and a 24th-fret width of 56.9 mm (2.24 in). The 16-inch radius fingerboard comes in either roasted Canadian maple or rosewood, housing 24 medium jumbo stainless-steel frets alongside dot inlays and Luminlay side dots for low-light visibility. While the WLH100 utilizes a maple neck construction, the WLH150 upgrades to a 3-piece roasted Canadian maple construction.

Electronics across the WLH series center on custom Winzz Hot Rod pickups featuring Alnico V magnets. The configuration pairs a Hot Rod Alnico V humbucker in the bridge position with a PAF-style Alnico V humbucker in the neck position to ensure a clear, dynamic response. Signal routing is managed by a Master Volume control, a Master Tone control, and a 3-way toggle pickup selector. To expand tonal capability, the Master Tone control incorporates a push/pull pot for coil splitting, allowing players to transition the humbuckers between series and parallel coil operation across all three pickup switch settings.

Rounding out the platform's hardware is a dedicated 6-string multiscale hardtail bridge and matching 6-string string lock system, all finished in black. The neck setup utilizes a highly adjustable truss rod system that enables neck adjustments without the removal of strings or hardware components.
